To get Members-Only Access to the CCA web site: 1) Go to www.cruisingclub.org/members/ (use this entire address typed or pasted into your browser, to assure that there are no old, cached pages in your system that might direct you to the wrong place). Once you've done this once, you can bookmark the page or get there by clicking any other relevant link on the site in the future. 2) Your username (UID or login name) is your full email address that is on file with the CCA. It is case sensitive, so it must be typed just the way you gave it to the CCA Secretary in the first place (or most recently if it has changed over the years). 3) Unless you have already changed it on or after October 10th, 2006, your temporary password is the first four letters of your last name, followed by your 4-digit CCA Audit number from your dues bill. This number was sent to you as a reminder by email on October 10th, 2006. However, AOL users and a few others may not have received it, due to email handling procedures used by certain ISP's (mostly AOL). If you need to know what it is, send an email message to me at staylor@densefog.com and I will send it to you again. 4) Please note that once you have signed in, you will be required to change your password to something you like and can remember. If you have already done this after October 10, 2006, you do not need to change your password again (unless you want to), even if you change your email address in the future -- your chosen password will follow your new email address on file with the CCA. 5) Note also that you can now edit your own yearbook information on file with the club. Please do this -- it is a great help to your volunteer officers and publication editors. You can (and should) also pay your dues online -- a great help to the treasurer (the web site and an email message will remind you when to do this). — Steve Taylor, CCA Secretary |
