The 2021 Station cruise will pick-up where the highly successful 2019 ‘100 Wild Island’ Cruise left off. The idea is to cruise the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia from Liscombe to Aracht. This is a section of coast that is largely by-passed by yachts sprinting to the Bras d’Or Lakes.

Following all Nova Scotia Public Health guidelines and directives the cruise will commence on July 26, with a rendezvous at the Liscombe Lodge, Liscombe Mills, NS  (cocktails@ 1730; Dinner@ 1830), the cruise will be a leisurely exploration of 60 miles of coastline allowing plenty of time for sailing and gunk-holeing.   Between the beginning and ending fixtures, the itinerary is expected to be flexible and up to the participants.  Stops at Sherbrooke, on the St. Mary’s River, Country Harbour, Dover and Canso are anticipated. The final event will occur at the Isle Madame Boat Club, in Aracht, on Thursday August 5th with a dinner catered by the members of the club is planned.

A dozen boats are expected so far and members interested in joining us should contact Ernest Hamilton. 1-800-560-6792; msy@nbnet.nb.ca.
