The Bras d’Or Station had hoped to welcome all CCA members to Lunenburg, Nova Scotia for the 2021 Fall meeting of the CCA.  However, in this COVID-19 environment and its related uncertainties, the meeting will be virtual.

Here is the page with all the information (when available) about the meeting.

The meeting schedule is here.

Lunenburg is well known to CCA members who have sailed into the harbour on their own boats.  This charming historic town offers a vibrant harbour, colourful buildings and a fascinating seafaring history.

Should you have the opportunity to sail into the beautiful harbour be sure to wander through the Fisheries Museum where you will be able to check out the displays and dioramas and hear seafaring stories, visit the 1895 castle-like Lunenburg Academy school at the top of the hill, take in a concert at the Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance (LAMP), tour St. John’s Anglican Church built in 1754 and rebuilt after being destroyed by fire in 2001 and check out the famous restored schooner, Bluenose II.  Lunenburg is filled with beautiful historic homes, art galleries, gift shops and music.  It is a fascinating town to explore.

Be sure to visit by land or sea.
