CCA Privacy Notice

 
The Club holds personal data to meet members' requirements for annual membership which includes: your name, email address, home address, telephone numbers, year of birth, and yacht details.
 
The lawful basis to hold this information is to provide annual membership records to the Cruising Club of America. These records are used mainly for membership monitoring and for the production of the Members’ Yearbook. The Club will process and protect data in accordance with the terms of US Law and the General Data Protection Regulation. Any data held within the organization will be held for the benefit of the member and effective management of the organization. We do not pass, sell or trade the information for profit or gain. Contact information may be passed, on an individual basis, from time to time, to a person or organization with a legitimate need for it.
 
As part of your membership we will keep you informed of any events and send you information pertaining to the Club.
 
For individuals (member and non-member) who transact business with the Club, we retain purchase records and shipping and billing addresses.
 
You have the right to access any data we hold about you and you can request the removal of this data once your membership has ceased.
 
All data held at the CCA is password protected and secure and the Club undertakes all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
