The first meeting of the SAF Station of the CCA in 2019 will be held at the Marin Yacht Club on Wednesday, January 9. I hope you will plan to join us. A good meeting has been planned. Lunch will be a buffet, consisting of:       Roasted Rep Pepper and Crab Bisque       Chicken Picatta       Mixed Vegetables       Basmati Rice       Penne Pasta       Brownies and Cookies       Coffee and Tea    There will be a vegetarian option for those who would prefer it. Please notify me if you wish to have this option.    The cost of the meal will be $43. There will be a no-host wine bar.     Mary Crowley is starting out the year with another terrific speaker: Liz Taylor, President of DOER Marine, a deep ocean exploration and research company located in Alameda and founded in 1992 by Ms. Taylor's mother, Sylvia Earle. She will talk about Hot Spots (Marine Sanctuaries) and technologies developed by DOER to explore below scuba diving depths.      If you plan to attend, please register where indicated below.
