The Charts and Guides Committee's primary responsibilities are:

1) Creating, producing and distributing quality cruising guides for destinations where the CCA has particular expertise. Existing guides (available since 1952) are:

• CCA Cruising Guide to Nova Scotia
• CCA Cruising Guide to Newfoundland
• CCA Cruising Guide to Labrador
• CCA Cruising Guide to the Gulf of St. Lawrence

In 2022, the Committee introduced its first online-only CCA Cruising Guide to the Maine Coast.

In April/May 2023, the Committee launched its first offshore passage guide, the "CCA Essentials Passage Guide to the Viking Route, including Faroes, Iceland, Greenland, Newfoundland & Labrador."

2) The Chart Loaning Service has been suspended while the Committee investigates alternative methods of sharing cruising information.
